ALBUM: Wolfmother’s Cosmic Egg hatches October 23rd

It’s been many years between wickets but at last, Australian rock band, WOLFMOTHER have finally brought what we’ve been waiting for since ’05, a sophomore album.
Having received high acclaim from the Australian music public and abroad (specifically America), we can safely say that the release date for their second album COSMIC EGG is Friday the 23rd of October.
Since the breakup of the original three-piece, the band has grown to four with the inclusion of Resin Dogs, Brisbane based drummer, Dave Atkins as well as Ian Peres and Aidan Nemeth.
The inclusion of the three new members hasn’t changed what the typical Wolfmother experience brings, with Andrew Stockdale (lead singer/guitarist) leading from the front in his distinctive style.
If you can’t wait for the album, you can catch the first single ‘New Moon Rising’ in this Youtube clip! Also, be sure to check out how you can preview a new Wolfmother track every day.
Track listing is as follows:
- California Queen
- New Moon Rising
- White Feather
- Sundial
- In the Morning
- 10,000 Feet
- Cosmic Egg
- Far Away
- Pilgrim
- In the Castle
- Phoenix
- Violence of the Sun

If I were wolfmother I'd . . . . . What's your take on the new line up Marco?
I think its awesome that we still have WOLFMOTHER producing music. The sound of the band hasn't changed cause Stockdale is still lead. I'm predicting the song 10,000 feet will party. WOLLLFFFFMOOTTHEEERRR
