Six tracks for week six!
Local Natives – Airplanes
Local Natives released their debut album, ‘Gorilla Manor’ a couple of days ago. I don’t really get the booing at the start of this track. Aside from that however, this is a splendid track which builds to a crescendo highlighted by the sing-it-out-loud line ‘I want you back, back, back, you back!’.
Hungry Kids of Hungary – Old Money
Brisbane band HKoH are about to embark on their nation wide Let You Down Easy tour.
Silver Columns – Brow Beaten (Hot Chip)
Them Crooked Vultures – New Fang
TCV are a supergroup consisting of members of Queens of the Stoneage, Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin. There is not much that can go wrong. New Fang is testimony to this.
