Set Sail set to embark on east coast tour

Words by Scenewave Oz - Published on February 20, 2012

Known for their energetic impromptu street shows, Set Sail trades curb side acoustics for east coast venues. Facing great uncertainty earlier this year, with lead singer Brandon Hoogenboom being deported from Australia, the band have managed to get a correct visa and grant Brandon access back into the country.

Starting the tour in their home town Sydney, they will head north to Brisbane and play an intimate Black Bear Lodge gig with Tin Can Radio as support on Thursday and wind their way back down south to Byron, up to the flower city of Toowoomba, then back to Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Set Sail are young in their music careers having only released an EP in 2011, The Riley Moore but have made massive waves both in Australia and across the world through their unique shows. The three piece anticipate to release another EP late in 2012.
