LORNE SELLS OUT IN A HEARTBEAT, PLAN YOUR NEW YEAR’S EVE NOW

Tickets to the anniversary edition of The Falls Music & Arts Festival in Lorne sold out this morning in 50 minutes! Marion Bay is currently on sale and is being snapped up at a swift pace.  Spending New Year’s Eve in Tasmania is a mighty fine idea and here is why:

She’s turning 10! Falls Festival will be turning the celebration dial up to 11 for Tasmania’s 10 year birthday, especially on New Year’s Eve! The line-up is huge and getting bigger by the day. There’ll be around 80 artists, including the majority of the Lorne program (only one of the announced acts is not performing in Marion Bay – Willis Earl Beal). It’ll be a fortune of fun times and you’re invited.

She’s cheap! In the nicest possible way! Ticket prices are heavily subsidised. Get in early and book your travel now, it’s really affordable. 1,700 seats per week have been added, with loads more flights across the Bass Strait this year over the festival period. Or, if you want to take your car and as much luggage as you can muster catch the boat. Just don’t swim.

She’s pretty! Marion Bay truly is the most beautiful festival location. White sands, ocean breezes, balmy days, warm starry nights – you get it. No wonder so many people travel from all over Australia each year to visit her. Tasmania is one of those bucket list destinations with so many cool things to see and do: MONA, Cradle Mountain, Taste Festival, Mount Wellington, Bay of Fires and so much more. Tick it off!

She’s available! Tickets are available here. All tickets include FREE CAMPING. Two day tickets are $193 + b/f, three day tickets are $226 plus b/f. Limited Gimme Shelter tickets are also available and include tent and sleeping mat.
