Outlook Festival 2012

Establishing itself as Europe’s leading dance/reggae festivals, Outlook Festival in Croatia is exactly what I’m chasing to begin my European Adventure.

To set the scene of this festival, they get fuck off stezzas, place them on the on the beach, a fort and a several boats and blast them at no noise restrictions, to the deliciousness of 30 degree heat, flowing bacardi, and more than presentable fillies. To elaborate more on the boat parties, they take the festival acts, place them on various boats, and they play sets to the picturesque back drop of the Croatian waters with all you can drink bars. To me, this sound quite the introduction I am chasing.

I’ll admit, i’ve only just got to know the mental dance artists on the bill (thanks to the Hartlepool lads in Zagreb, do a 180!), with acts such as Fat Freddy’s Drop (who appeared at SITG 2009), Digital Mystikz, XXXY, Skream, Kode9 to be highlights. This I think is by far the biggest appeal as I don’t have any expectations. The only thing that is guaranteed, is that I’ll probably (definitely) be frequenting boarding pissed express along with my mad mates who will bring the Australian ruckus. I think the biggest deterrent however will be me having to get my pasty white bods out amongst the glamorous Croatian princesses. Meh minor detail.

The festival runs for 5 days from the 30th of August to 3rd September and is located at Fort Punta Christo. For those that are near the northern tip of Croatia I highly recommend grabbing a ticket as there are limited tickets left and strap your dancing shoes aboard as this ain’t for the blue light disco folk.

See the youtubes vids of last year. Mental.
