Two Door Cinema Club return equipped with a new album ‘Beacon’ (which follows from their massive indie-pop debut ‘Tourist History’). The Irish trio have been hailed as THE band to catch this summer by music bible NME.and MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED!

Indie lovers, electronica and house aficionados will come together to the awesome sounds of Hot Chip. The group are riding high on their fifth studio album ‘In Our Heads’. With a sound that is akin to an 80s cyborg collaborating with a disco diva, streaming their live show together with frenzied wonky arpeggiators, Hot Chip weave a club vibe that will no doubt be an audience favourite at Field Day.

There are some artists where the hype around them doesn’t match the reality… and then there’s Mark Ronson – the hottest DJ/Producer in the world. For a man who produced Amy Winehouse’s soul-heavy award-winning album ‘Back to Black’ and paid homage in cover form to everyone from Radiohead and Britney Spears it is safe to say that Mark Ronson is going to bring a gasp inducing (“he played what?!?”) range of eclectic tunes to the decks at Field Day.

SBTRKT debut self-titled album pulled off the almost impossible; it’s bursting with fresh ideas, and yet it sounds immediately familiar. It gave us hits like ‘Wildfire’ featuring Little Dragon, and the moody ‘Hold On’ featuring Sampha’s super smooth pipes.  SBTRKT may hide his physical appearance behind his famous tribal mask on stage but he certainly doesn’t hide his staggering music talent, mixing tracks live, triggering samples and utilising both electronic and acoustic drums, while his long time collaborator Sampha contributes live synth sounds and vocals. Get set for the brilliance of SBTRKT at Field Day.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED) makes music at the central point between pop, electro, house and melodic, tuff rave – and his debut album ‘Trouble’ is just more proof that TEED’s Orlando Higginbottom is one of the most fascinating, brilliant and musically kaleidoscopic artists in the world right now. His last Sydney show sold out in 40mins! Don’t miss him at Field Day when he unleashes a live set that involves his delicate vocals on top of moody, retro synth beats and 80s and 90s house bass lines that has push TEED into the spotlight.

They only just released their debut self-titled album in Australia in March and Django Django are already being permanently etched into the annals of music history… with a heady combo of jingle jangle guitars, rumbling basslines, whirring synths, sexy samples and tribal percussive tones. Their hit singles include the acid-tongued ‘Default’ and ‘Hail Bop’. With a live show that has been described as a highly infectious stage party the foursome have been on a European tour supporting Hot Chip and they are set to reach Australia just in time for Field Day 2012.

British duo Disclosure come to Field Day armed with a trailer full of tunes including ones from their debut EP ‘The Face’ (2012). The brothers are responsible for killer tracks ‘Control’ feat Ria Ritchie and ‘Boiling’ featuring stunning vocals from Sinead Harnett. They dropped their new single ‘Latch’ featuring Sam Smith this month and it has been making tidal waves across the globe. Watch Disclosure fluently mingle the 2-step rhythms of garage and smooth bass of house with an array of musical influences including soul, jazz and 90’s hip hop when they hit the Field Day stage.

‘I Love It’, the debut single from female Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop, released May 2012 quickly became THE summer anthem across Europe and started heating things up in Australia not long after. Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt make up the duo and have forged a sound with touches of punk, indie, pop and house and influences as broad as early Blondie to Daft Punk. Only new on the scene, Icona Pop have already taken to the stages of some of Europe’s biggest festivals, including Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and Germany’s Melt!; and soon, Field Day 2013!

With an amazing and dynamic line-up in place, audiences can enjoy the sun, trees and good company on the first day of the year. Have a Field Day!
