Ever wished someone would bring back oldschool badass blues rock? Well Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon is doing just that with his side project The Shouting Matches.

Teaming up with Phil Cook (Megafaun, DeYarmond Edison) and Brian Moen (Peter Wolf Crier), Vernon  has channeled his country side to produce the debut album Grownass man. The sexy slow black keys-esque songs are very different to Bon Iver, but well worth a listen.
