Lorde is touring in Australia THIS MONTH

Words by Scenewave Australia - Published on April 1, 2014

17-year-old Lorde aka Ella Yelich-O’Connor, the biggest thing to come out of Middle Earth New Zealand since, well, ever, has been winning fans (and awards) around the world – deservedly so. And she’s touring in Australia THIS MONTH!

Not only was Royals the biggest song of 2013, but she’s shown herself to be smart, well-read and mature far beyond her years, earning the respect and adoration of millions.

Whether she’s putting Kyle Sandilands to shame on live radio or being covered by the likes of Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Bruce Springsteen or a 7 -foot-tall clown named Puddles (absolutely my favourite version), there’s no question about it: pop music has a new queen, and she’s here to stay.

Lorde has received endless praise for her powerful live performances and her demanding stage presence, as anybody who has seen her perform would agree.

After selling out in Sydney and Melbourne, two extra shows have been announced. The tour begins on April 24 and tickets are on sale NOW.

Get ‘em while you can – this is not a show to be missed.
