Kate Miller-Heidke is touring next month!

Australia’s alternative pop princess, Kate Miller-Heidke, will be taking the country by storm on her upcoming Oh Vertigo! tour in support of her latest album.
Miller-Heidke’s newest album, Oh Vertigo! was released in March of this year, and is her debut album as an independent artist after leaving Sony. Kate turned to PledgeMusic to help crowd fund her album and raised a staggering 209% of her goal. Using incentives such as things as small as an autographed copy of her album to playing a private show at your house, Kate’s album became the fastest selling crowd funded project in Australian history. She also vowed to donate a portion of the sales towards protecting the Great Barrier Reef.
Since the release of the critically acclaimed Oh Vertigo!, receiving a four out of five star rating from the Courier Mail, Kate Miller-Heidke has toured around country offering intimate acoustic shows to promote her album, though is now set to take on Australia again with her full band in tow.
Kate will be bringing not only her new music to the stage, but some of her classics, stating, “I’m looking forward to bringing the new songs, as well as a mixture of older stuff”. And for those who have been unable to see her previously due to their location, she goes on to say she’ll be bringing her music “out far beyond the capital cities, especially places I’ve never played before.”
Following this tour, Miller-Heidke will be embarking on a UK leg before reprising her role in the English National Opera’s production of The Death of Klinghoffer at the Metropolitan Opera in New York!
