New music from Kele!

Kele Okereke is a man who hardly needs an introduction. Frontman of indie favourites Bloc Party, he has been hard at work making an established name for himself as a solo artist. His 2010 solo release, The Boxer, including hits Tenderoni and Everything You Wanted, was hugely successful, and now he’s back for more.

Going further down the dance path, and shedding his indie image for good, Okereke has announced his next LP, Trick. First single Doubt has left us begging for more, with pulsing beats and that one-of-a-kind voice coupled with groovy synths and glitchy percussion. It’s tantalizing and is the perfect teaser for what is still to come from this master of all trades!

However, Trick isn’t the only project Kele has been working on. He has also recently collaborated with Perth’s own Sable as part of the #JDFutureLegends initiative. The product, The One is up for grabs for free download on SoundCloud, and is pretty damn good. Sable‘s seemingly unstoppable EDM talents perfectly compliment Kele to make an unbeatable track!

We have our fingers and toes crossed all this hard work means a return to Australia for Kele, who was here recently as part of the CIRCO festival + sideshows.
