Tour Announcement: Ball Park Music

After lighting up the Splendour amphitheatre, the brilliant Ball Park Music are heading out on their Trippin’ the Light Fantastic tour around Australia beginning next month. They are without doubt one of the most musically diverse and original Australian bands around. If there were any lingering doubts, their epic Splendour set once again proved this, where they capped off an already captivating selection of best stuff with a stunning rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.

The extensive tour is the second of 2014, coming in support of their single of the same name and most recent album Puddinghead. The quirky five-piece band will travel around most of the major cities and several others that they missed on their first tour, smashing out songs from all three of their successful albums. If their tongue-in-cheek press release is anything to go by, where they state that it will be ‘in 3D without any visual aid’, it will be a show that doesn’t take itself too seriously. We expected nothing less.
