New single: The DuBarrys – ‘Undress Your Soul’

Brighton four piece The DuBarrys are on the way to releasing their debut EP. On the way they’ve dropped the single Undress Your Soul as a taster of what’s to come.

It seems appropriate that this has come out just as the winter chill is slowly thawing – the easy ’70’s rock feel seem like it was crafted on a balmy summer’s day at the beach. With a rousing pop undercurrent, the indie-pop influence are easy to spot. In a time when Passenger’s soulful tunes can climb the charts, it’s not hard to see success coming the way of The DuBarrys.

Chilled, relaxing riffs build on the delicate harmonies, creating a feel-good track that recalls the sounds of Tame Impala and Alt-J. Having already supported King Charles with performances at the Isle of Wright Festival, the four-piece (although curiously only three appear on stage) are set to make an impact early next year.
