The impressive Falls Festival lineups were announced this morning on triple j with organisers heavily favouring USA bands. The trend of featuring bands from a wide range of genres, set by festivals such as Parklife, looks set to continue with Falls boasting artists ranging from Klaxons to The Cool Kids to Paul Kelly.

If you aren’t aware the Falls Festival ballot has opened for 2010/2011. The first lineup is announced on August 11 with The Soft Pack already indicating they’ll be on the bill, and i’m throwing it out there that Arcade Fire will be down under over the new year!
