Queensland Music Awards 2012

It’s that time of the year where we cast back at the last 12 months and recognise those bands in Queensland who are the best and most innovative songwriters and musicians.

There are eleven genre categories to enter, including rock, jazz, urban and a new category this year being Children’s Songs.

In previous years, the QMA have recognised such acts as DZ Deathrays, Emma Louise, Kate Miller-Heidke, Amity Affliction, Ben Salter, The Middle East to name a few. These acts have showcased their talents across the world, playing at the world’s biggest stages.

The awards, will once again take place at the Old Museum in Bowen Hills, Brisbane on August 14th.
