Upcoming artist: Felly ‘For The Kids’

Here’s a lo-fi lullaby that’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy. 19-year-old L.A.-based producer Felly, real name Chris Felner, has just released “For The Kids,” a gorgeous instrumental track.

The fluid combination of soft synths with velvety piano chords lay the foundation for a serene atmosphere, while the beat adds an easy groove. Each layer, be it bass, beat, flute or synth, adds something noticeable to the remarkably smooth soundscape. And while the ambiance sure is peaceful, there’s enough presence that your attention doesn’t wane for a moment.

The track is pretty high up in terms of tone, snow-capped at the tip by glistening vocal embellishments; it’s rounded out by a subtle and crucial bass, gently sailing beneath the surface, maintaining a perfect balance.
