Safia kick off their national tour tomorrow!

You’ve probably heard of Safia by now. The Canberra three-piece have been storming the airwaves with their brilliant, beautiful single Paranoia, Ghosts and Other Sounds, and now they’re hitting the road to launch it in proper style.

Tipped by The Indie Shuffle as an act to watch in 2014 and clocking up more than 100 000 Soundcloud listens, it’s no wonder that they’ve already sold out shows in Melbourne and Canberra.

Supporting Safia throughout their tour is Tasmanian bad man Akouo (pronounced ah-koo-oh), an up and coming producer who has been turning heads with his sweet soul-hip hop infused beats. Have a listen to his rework of Safia’s single

Having already played at Groovin’ the Moo and alongside fellow Aussie acts RUFUS and Aelizabeth Rose, Safia have begun building a reputation as a brilliant live act. Get in quick, because it won’t be long til the boys outgrow intimate venues like these.
