Surf Pop Extraordinaires Wavves, release ‘Horse Shoes’

Words by Scenewave Australia - Published on February 28, 2011

Wavves, west coast surf pop extraordinaires, have been growing on me for quite some time now, their lo-fi power chords often helping to fuel my footsteps when I’d otherwise be too exhausted.

The song “Horse Shoes” is no exception, sounding like a cut from King of the Beach, and displaying subdued vocals perfectly executed by front man Nathan Williams.

Those feverishly tracking the blog-o-sphere know that the song is a few days old by now, but definitely worth a listen if you’ve yet to hear.

If you haven’t heard, Wavves are playing The Zoo on the 8th of March. Tickets can be found here.
