Do you know The Perch Creek Family Jugband?
If you don’t, you should. Who wouldn’t want to listen to “Australia’s first psychedelic jug band”?
First off, here’s their latest single, Where You Been:
That wasn’t enough? Hungry for more? Well luckily for you, they’re currently touring Aus before setting off to Canada and Europe, so you can catch them live! Woo!
Their second album is about to be released on March 19. Jumping On The Highwire is full of life. It’s highly charged roots music brimming with energy and the vitality of a buzzing city. It’s so much fun to listen to, and an incredible live experience.
The band have invited listeners to “dive through the rabbit hole, jump into a ready-to-race pink Cadillac and take a whirlwind ride into a never-ending landscape of bizarre and colourful characters and eye-widening sights, where things are never really as they seem.”
Sounds pretty epic, right?
This group have played everywhere from ABC’s much-love Spicks and Specks, to the Sydney Opera House, and beyond. They’re toured throughout Europe and the UK and are about to run off overseas again – so this is your chance to catch them at home.
